About Puja
Maa Vindhyavasini Kumkum Archana Puja is a devotional worship offered to the Divine Mother at Vindhyachal, where She is revered as the swift wish-fulfilling Shakti. In this ritual, fragrant kumkum (vermilion) is offered to the Goddess while chanting Her sacred names and mantras, symbolizing purity, auspiciousness, and the devotee’s surrender. The puja begins with sankalp (intent), purification, and invocation of Maa Vindhyavasini, followed by Durga Saptashati/Devi stotras, Kumkum Archana with 108 or 1008 names, flowers, akshata, and deepa-arati. A dedicated priest performs the worship on the devotee’s behalf, seeking blessings for protection, prosperity, harmony at home, clarity in decisions, and removal of obstacles and negativity. This puja is especially recommended for those facing instability in career or business, family discord, fear, or lingering hurdles.
